Amdo

If you’re looking to explore the Amdo region of Tibet, birthplace of the 14th Dalai Lama and the 10th Panchen Lama, or to visit Kumbum Jampa Ling near Xining, and Labrang Tashi Khyil south of Lanzhou, consider our 10-day Amdo Excursion. Amdo is one of the three traditional regions of Tibet and today it is annexed into the provinces of Gansu, Sichuan and Qinghai.
